Ravensburg Razorbacks sign LB/DB Dejvion Steward

the Ravensburg Razorbacks, entering their second year at German Football League, made a key addition to their defense with the signing of Tiffin University Dragons (NCAA Div. II) linebacker/safety Steward of Dejvion for the 2022 season.

the Razorbacks finished 2021, their first season in the GFLfifth of South division with a 5-5 record.

The versatile defender is happy with the move:

“I am grateful for this opportunity. I believe the Razorbacks front office is building a strong team that is destined for success.

Steward spent the 2021 season, his third in Europewith the Cologne crocodiles and in 10 games he recorded 46 tackles, 9 tackles for loss, 3 sacks, 6 PBUs and 6 PDs. He originally planned to go to Germany in 2020, signature with the Kiel Baltic Hurricanes before the pandemic canceled GFL season. Steward ends its second season in Europe in 2019 with the Seinajoki Crocodiles in Finland Maple League recording 75 tackles good for fourth in the league and three interceptions. The previous year, in 2018, he played for the Bolzano Giants in Italy help them achieve the Italian championship game where they lost against Milan Sailors. He finished the year fourth on the team with 36.5 tackles, 3 tackles for loss, 2.5 sacks and 7 pbu.

The 6’0, 205 pounds, almost 29 years old Steward is from Detroit, Michigan and spent his college career at Tiffin University. He started 23 games for Lunch throughout his college career and finished his senior season with 87 tackles, 8 pbu and 3 sacks.
