Everything you need to know about West Ham players during the October international break
Nine West Ham players have been called up by their country for the October international break.
The Hammers contingent will compete in the 2022 FIFA World Cup qualifiers in Europe, Africa and North America.
The October break is made up of two matches for European and African players, with Jamaica in the North American qualifying section facing three encounters in seven days.
The September break saw ten Hammers in action, however, Kurt Zouma did not make Didier Deschamps’ France side this time around for the UEFA Nations League final four.

Algeria
Said Benrahma hopes to add to his 11 international caps as he team up with Algeria for the home and away games against Niger on Friday October 8 and Tuesday October 12 in the second round of the Coupe du African world.
The Desert Foxes currently have four out of six possible points in Group A of the World Cup qualifiers after an 8-0 win over Djibouti and a 1-1 draw against Burkina Faso.
Croatia
New hammer Nikola Vlasic will team up with Croatia for two essential matches in Group H of the World Cup qualifiers.
Croatia are currently at the top of their group, tied at 13 points with Russia. Vlasic will face Cyprus and Slovakia on Friday and Monday respectively.
Czech Republic
West Ham have three men in the Czech Republic squad with Vladimir Coufal and Alex Kral joining captain Tomas Soucek in the configuration of Jaroslav Silhavy.
The Czechs host Wales in Group E on Friday night ahead of a clash with Belarus on Monday night.
England
Declan Rice is the only member of the Hammers squad to have been selected for England, although Jarrod Bowen has argued for his inclusion.
Rice has won 26 caps for the Three Lions and could be added to those when Gareth Southgate’s side face Andorra on Friday night and Hungary on Tuesday night. England currently lead Group I with 16 points from six games after recording five wins and a draw.
Jamaica
Newly selected Jamaican international Michail Antonio heads to North America for three matches just four weeks after his Reggae Boyz debut.
Jamaica will first travel to Texas to face the United States of America on Thursday, October 7 before a home game against Canada on Sunday and an away clash with Honduras on Wednesday night.
Poland
Lukasz Fabianski ended his international career after the European Championships in the summer, but such was his service to his country, he received a final summons for international service.
The goalkeeper is set for a farewell appearance on October 9 in Warsaw when Poland host San Marino in a Group I qualifier.
Spain
Pablo Fornals has been selected for Spain’s squad for the UEFA Nations League semi-final against European champions Italy on Wednesday night, with Belgium against France being the other draw.
The winners meet in the final on Sunday evening, with the losers playing the match for third place earlier today.
Ukraine
West Ham’s most capped international Andriy Yarmolenko will look to add to his 102 caps and 42 goals for Ukraine.
Matches against Finland on Saturday afternoon and Bosnia and Herzegovina on Tuesday evening will go a long way in determining whether Ukraine can compete for a play-off berth.
