Belarus 94th in the FIFA rankings

MINSK, Feb. 10 (BelTA) — The Belarusian national football team ranks 94th in the recently released rankings of the Fédération Internationale de Football Association (FIFA), BelTA has learned.

Since the publication of the previous ranking (December 24, 2021) Georgy Kondratiev’s team has not played and leaves with 1233.43 points. Belarusian footballers will play matches as part of the training camp in Bahrain. Belarus will first face India in Manama on March 26 and Bahrain on March 29. The Belarusian team has never played against these teams before. Bahrain is currently 89th, India – 104th in FIFA.

Among post-Soviet states, Ukraine ranks first (27th). Russia ranks 35th, Uzbekistan – 85th, Georgia – 86th, Armenia – 92nd, Kyrgyzstan – 96th, Estonia – 106th, Tajikistan – 115th, Kazakhstan – 120th, Azerbaijan – 121st, Turkmenistan – 134th, Latvia – 135th, Lithuania – 137th and Moldova – 181st.

3. France – 1786.15

4. Argentina – 1766.99

5. England – 1755.52

6. Italy – 1740.77

7. Spain – 1704.75

8.Portugal – 1660.25

10. Netherlands – 1653.73

The next FIFA rankings will be published on March 31, 2022.
