The promise of a fortnight on a sun-drenched beach seems a little less appealing when you consider the baggage battles and security queues to gain access.
There have been no reports of major problems with Liverpool John Lennon Airport, so this might be your best bet if you’re still up for putting your cossie by the pool and sipping pina coladas with your latest page turner.
But if you’re starting to think about long-distance flights, you might want to consider vacationing closer to home.
No need to go too far to enjoy a relaxing break, go sightseeing or treat yourself to a cocooning session – or several – with a fabulous stay…
